The Taurus is an icon of the Ford’s fleet. It rescued the American factory from bankruptcy when it came in ‘80s. Actually, now we expect the next generation of the 2018 Ford Taurus, but we don’t expect some big changes for this year.
On the other hand, changes are what the current model of Taurus needs. Its design needs to be revamped, to come up with competition. Main rivals should be Toyota Avalon, Nissan Maxima, Chrysler 300, Chevy Impala and Buick Lacrosse. When we look at them their styling is more appealing, but also we expect that the new Ford Taurus 2018 will come with interior changes, especially rear seats space.
2018 Ford Taurus redesign
The next generation of Taurus will come with slightly redesigned exterior. Big updates we can expect with 2019 – year model. Main characteristic of the 2018 Taurus is its dimensions and sharp exterior lines. With 112 inch of wheelbase and with 80 inch of overhang it has a bulky look. It is going to be available in four trim levels: SE, SEL, Limited and SHO. There are going to be nine exterior colors available, just like 2017 – year model. That means that it will be available in Blue Jeans, Ingot Silver, Magnetic, Oxford White, Ruby Red, Shadow Black, Smoked Quartz, White Gold and White Platinum.
