The 2018 Nissan Titan will come with same features as before. We expect that its release date is going to be set very soon, but this pickup truck could hit the markets in November 2017. Its base price should remain the same as before, since it was updated with 2017 – year model.
The next generation of Titan will come in two cab styles and with only one V8 engine. It is going to be mostly a carryover and it will get some new safety features. In the close future we expect to see smaller V6 engine or even diesel powerplant from bigger XD model. With next update we expect that next generation of Titan could get some features from Nissan Titan Warrior concept.
2018 Nissan Titan review
The next generation of the Nissan’s truck is going to come with same exterior styling. It was completely redesigned with 2017 – year model and with that redesign came the Titan XD. This heavy – duty truck offers better payload and towing capacities. Regular Titan and XD have similar look and they share headlights and cabin but they are built on different platforms. Each truck has its own chassis, suspension and body panels. Wheelbase of the XD is almost a foot longer that standard model but the Crew Cab model is only 14.7 inches shorter.

The 2018 Nissan Titan will be available in three cab styles: Single Cab, Crew Cab and King Cab. There are also five trim levels available: S, SV, PRO – 4X, SL and Platinum Reserve. Titan with Single Cab was presented for the first time with XD model. With 2018 – year model it will be available in S and SV grades and it is intended for work truck market. It is going to come in nine exterior colors: Brilliant Silver, Cayenne Red, Deep Blue Pearl, Forged Copper, Glacier White, Gun Metallic, Java Metallic, Magnetic Black, Pearl White, SolarFlare Yellow.
In the future, when next updated happens, the Titan could borrow some design clues from Warrior concept. It could be higher with bigger ground clearance and with wider tracks in order to receive better suspension. The stealth design with boxy LED headlights will contribute more aggressive look.
Depending on chosen cab style, the new Titan can accommodate up to 3 passengers in Single Cab. With Crew Cab there are two options for front seats split bench front seat and bucket front seats. With bucket front seats Titan Crew Cab can accommodate 5 passengers while with split bench front seat it can accept one more passenger. Standard interior trim for both cabs is cloth, while leather upholstery is available only with Crew Cab.
Base models come with 5.0-inch color audio display while higher trims come with large 7.0-inch touchscreen color display as standard. They are equipped with SiriusXM Satellite Radio and NissanConnect with Navigation. There is a Bluetooth hands-free phone system and with phone connectivity.
When it comes to safety there are a long list of active safety features. All models come with Anti-lock braking system, Tire Pressure Monitoring system, Traction Control System and Vehicle Dynamic Control. The 2017 – year model has no Automatic emergency braking, and because of that it didn’t get any ratings in a Front crash prevention test. We expect that the 2018 Nissan Titan will come upgraded by this safety feature, at least it should come as an option.

2018 Nissan Titan release date and price
According to some information, production of the next generation of the Titan is close to the end. That means that the 2018 Nissan Titan could hit the showrooms in November 2017. Because it is mostly a carryover, we believe that its price tag will not change too much. That means it is going to start around $29,500 for S Single Cab model with 4×2 drivetrain. The most expensive model is the Platinum Reserve trim with Crew Cab and 4×4 drivetrain and it starts under $53,000. Main rivals of the new Nissan Titan 2018 are Ford F – 150, Toyota Tundra and Chevy Silverado 1500.
